Simulation
Skyfarm Seasons
★★★★☆ 4.3
Skyfarm Seasons takes the familiar farming-sim loop and puts it on floating islands in the sky, which sounds gimmicky but gives the game a real charm. You plant, harvest, craft, and trade, gradually turning a bare rock into a busy little homestead among the clouds.
The pace is deliberately relaxed. There's no pressure clock breathing down your neck; you tend things at your own speed and watch your island grow prettier. I found myself checking in a couple of times a day just to see what had finished growing, which is exactly the hook a good sim wants.
It occasionally asks you to wait longer than I'd like for certain crafts, and the trading menus could be cleaner. Still, as a cozy, low-stress game to unwind with, it earns its spot.
What we liked
- Charming floating-island setting
- Truly low-stress, no-timer pacing
- Satisfying long-term island growth
