Why cozy sims are perfect for phones

I used to think farming and life sims were too slow for a phone. Playing Skyfarm Seasons changed my mind. The lack of pressure is exactly what makes these games work in the little pockets of downtime a phone is made for.

There's no urgency, and that's the point. You check in, tend a few things, plan what to build next, and put the phone away. Nothing punishes you for stepping away for a day, which is more than I can say for most mobile games.
